Virginia doesn't cap how far a tow truck can take your car. A tow can be a few blocks to the nearest shop or a few hundred miles across state lines. The only real limits are practical: cost (priced per mile for long hauls) and making sure the vehicle is secured properly for the distance, which is why a flatbed is often used for long trips.

Local tows use a base fee plus mileage. Long-distance tows are priced per mile and quoted up front, so you know the full cost before we leave, no surprises at the destination. For a fragile, classic, or high-value vehicle, we recommend a flatbed for the whole trip.
